The charging stations are the Series 7 Plus, the most powerful Level 2 fleet charging solution on the market.
The charging stations are located inside the paddock, northeast of the SCCA Office building (the first building on your right when you enter the track).
The charging platforms accept standard EV plugs. Thunderhill has contracted with Sema Connect to provide EV charging for our customers. You will need to have an account with them and work out how to utilize these pedestals for your needs. Each plug provides 80 amps of charging capacity (2 plugs per unit) requiring 2 @100 amp breakers for each pedestal.
The Series 7 Plus for Fleets is our most powerful Level 2charger, 19.2kW (80A), and has all the same features of the Series 7 for Fleets. It features a sleek, elegant design, a slim footprint, rugged aluminum casing, interactive LED lights, recessed LED screen, and is ENERGY STAR certified. It has dual port J-1772 plugs that allow two vehicles to charge at once.
