NCRC is excited to invite all drivers to their next event: the 3-mile bypass configuration at Thunderhill on Friday, May 13th. "We love this time of year at Thunderhill," says NCRC owner Evan Mironov."The weather is great, the temperatures are perfect for racing and hanging out in the paddock, and this configuration of the track really keeps the flow going. I think Thunderhill is always a really fun track to drive, but especially in May."
Every run group will get five 20 minute sessions, with a bonus session at the end of the day reserved for the run group with the most lost track time that day. NCRC is also running Open Fast and Open Slow groups, to give more experienced drivers the chance to drive alongside evenly matched car/driver pairings.
"There are a couple of things that set NCRC track days apart: our pre-grid system and the fact that we run all sessions on time," continues Evan. "The upshot of both is that drivers get to enjoy all their minutes on track, instead of wasting time in the first few laps jockeying for position."
Signups for May 13th are available on ncrc.trackrabbit.com. For any questions, visit NCRC at https://americanracingclub.com/ Spectator gates will open at 6:30 am. Thunderhill is located seven miles west of the I-5 Freeway in Willows, CA. Free parking, hill-side seating and quality food service are all available. For Google Maps, punch in 5250 Hwy 162 95988.
