NASA's Famous 25-Hour Race - November 10-11

The 25 Hours of Thunderhill is an event held annually  at Thunderhill Raceway Park; just outside the small city of Willows. The race is the longest road event on a closed course in the United States.

The 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance has been reinvented for 2023, with new classing, revised tire rules, scaled pricing by class, and new dates: November 10-11.

Schedule

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Mandatory Pre-Grid. Any car not gridded by 10:30 a.m. will start in the rear.

10:40 - 10:50 a.m. All personnel to stand near their cars. No working on cars. Military announcements, demonstrations,

etc. will take place.

10:50 - 10:55 a.m. Drivers belt in and prepare. Resume warming engines.

10:55 a.m. Five-minute board.

11:00 a.m. Pace car takes the track.

5:00 p.m. Sound limit warnings end and black flagging begins.

Sunday

12:00 noon Checkered flag.

1:00 p.m. Awards ceremony on the first floor of the main building.
