CARL EDWARDS TO BE FEATURED GUEST AT THUNDERHILL RACEWAY DINNER JUNE 23rd!
Willows, CA. Current NASCAR-Sprint Cup series point leader, Carl Edwards of Columbia Missouri, will be the featured guest at a gala dinner set for June 23rd at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows California.
Edwards has been on a roll since the end of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint-Cup racing season. He captured the final race of 2010 at the Homestead Florida Speedway and won again this past March at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Last weekend he won the prestigious All-Star Sprint Cup at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. Edwards will attempt to continue his story book season just three days after his appearance at Thunderhill Park when he competes in his Roush-Fenway Ford #99 at the Infineon Raceway road course in Sonoma California on June 26th.
“This is a very special opportunity to meet and greet one of NASCARS and our nation’s most famous sports heroes,” noted Terry Taylor, Thunderhill CFO. “We only have 99 dinner seats to offer for the $99 per plate price. I hope we will have a sell-out,” Taylor said. The evening will start with a social period starting at 5:30 pm on the patio of the Thunderhill Park Club House and then move inside where all in attendance will be treated to a special sit-down dinner and the opportunity to meet and talk with Carl. Dinner is set to begin at 6pm.
